I don't have any current info regarding So. Iowa rates either, my park is in Mid-Mo small town and currently my lot fee is $155 with $10 annual increase scheduled. Basically,10 years ago when I built this park, I started out too cheap I was trying to be in line with other parks in the area,and with limited demand, fee increases/ occupancy rates are challenging. After reading a recent string of posts on mhu forum it really struck me how much of the land cost/ homesite costs are attributable to local governing bodies. Our property tax rates are low (comparably speaking) no county zoning, no impact fees. If So. Iowa has a bunch of these sort of issues to deal with, on top of your low rates you had better look elsewhere.
