Lowe's also carries cheap Laminate but it does not have the greenboard backing.

We buy our laminate the same place Ryan does (right here in our backyard.... thanks for the heads up Ryan).

The store is more of a mom and pop style store than a big box store. It is called the Home Discount Warehouse.

The boards are 4ft long. The are now are running us 99 cents per square foot.

I find that typically if I were to buy carpet and pad, I am pretty close. We all know that carpet and pad won't last too long so after the first change out, I am likely ahead of the game. Since I won't have to change the flooring I am not only saving the money I would have spent on carpet but also the time. I can now go into and sweep, mop and rent. We may add some touch up paint as necessary but the bang for the buck is huge. The durability and the way this stuff shows is excellent.

Tony
