In MS, the most they can collect is $800.00.......it would be wise to contact an attorney, preferably one who is competent in real estate. You should easily be able to get an attorney who would write a letter to the owner of the MHP park stating the appropriate statute in your state for $100. At the very least you will know the law for future deals. I have also found that the back rent is negotiable, especially if paid in cash.
