We installed laminate in my mothers kitchen. She is 85 and her hearing is not what it should be. She has left the water running in the sink and overflowed it badly several times. After 8+ years it is only now showing swelling on the edges but not enough to replace it yet. And this is probably the older less moisture resistant kind. I'm a believer
