I will agree with you on all points. The stock tiles at Lowes are not the most attractive. I have usually special ordered tiles for the same price. I also prefer the look of Laminate in living rooms and bedrooms, but I prefer tile in baths and kitchens. Even though field reports are to the contrary, I still feel uneasy about laminate in baths.

I think we all can agree that either selection is far superior to carpet or peel and stick tiles.
