yeah, you screwed up.
Never let the seller know how much you have. Now she expects 3K.
What you should have done is say "I can't tell you that, I want you to tell me what you will take TODAY".
Just keep fencing until she names a price. If she won't, or comes up with a too high price, leave her your name and number say "let me know if change your mind".
