Prorate lot rent?

Hey all!
This will probably sound silly but I have a question about selling a home midway through a month and prorating the rent. For example, if lot rent is $400 per month and I sell a home on the 15th of a 30 day month, where do I record the $200? Can I wrap it up with the overall cost of the home, or should I add it somewhere else on the contract?
