That's for clarifying what you and the other posters meant when using the initials S.O.L. (Statute of Limitations). I was inclined to interpret it otherwise (LOL).

Regarding your last point, there could be a few other scenarios that come to mind, including heirs who just don't pony up the dough to file probate or even a summary petition for the single, personal property asset (note secured by TD). Either way, it's exciting because sometimes things work out the "other" way. Thanks for your post!
