If you are new at real estate investing and are planning on beginning your new career via short sales, I say you need to think again. With damaged credit and no cash on hand, investing via short sales isn't possible. No lender is going to risk losing money from their current customer to losing money with a new wannabe customer. There are much better ways for the newcomer to invest in real estate. Good luck.
