You know your children better than I do. Maybe they don't deserve any love or consideration. Maybe they take after you.
Warren Buffet has the same attitude. He is leaving small legacies to his children, the bulk of his billions he is leaving to charity.
He just gave millions to Bill Gates. No I am not kidding. After careful thought, he concluded that Gates' charitable works were what he had in mind and gave the money to Gates' charities.
One word of caution. Better be sure your kids aren't the ones who pick out your nursing home.
