On your next 6mo visit, check out your local area, if that is where you plan to reside, and see what the lay of the land is for investors. Go to a local REIA meeting and talk to everyone you can find on what they are doing and what they would recommend. The current market will probably not change appreciably before you get back. However, if you run across any really good low volume deals that you cannot lose on think seriously about taking them. But be careful and use your good judgement. What area of the county are you interested?
