Best courses for learning

Hi Gang,
I've been reading this site with great interest and very excited by the possibilities. I was recently laid off from my job and want to make a go of real estate investing because it's been a dream of mine for some time now.
I have a little bit of money from my severance package to pay for some courses but not a lot. I think I'll be able to last for six months or so as far as living expenses go.
Does anyone have an opinion about what the best real estate course is to buy that gives you a good solid plan to make cash in the short term? I'm really interested in just making some cash profits as soon as possible to get myself on a solid financial footing.
If anyone can offer some help in this regard I would appreciate it very much.
